The Membership committee coordinates, recruits and retains culturally responsible black engineers, while documenting the recruitment and retention processes of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter of NSBE.

Professional Development

The Professional Development committee provides access to technical, professional and personal development information and workshops.

Scholarship

The Scholarship committee provides scholarships to deserving individuals through the “Gayla Ferguson Memorial” and the “Metro Atlanta Scholarship”.

Fund-raising/Finance

The Fund-raising and Finance committee facilitates fund-raising events, and monitors financial directives that accomplish the goals and objectives for the members of the Atlanta Chapter and community.

Programs

The Programs committee coordinates monthly mixers, theater parties and various trips that allow chapter members to network, relax and fellowship.

Constitution Committee

The Constitution committee helps create amendments that reflect the positive changes and positions that have been created through the Atlanta Chapter.

Technical Outreach Community Help (T.O.R.C.H.) Center

The T.O.R.C.H. committee focuses on reducing the digital divide between those with technology access and those without.

Pre-College Initiative (PCI)

The PCI committee is focused on encouraging students in grades K-12 to develop interest and skills in math and science.
